1. Our Accessibility Approach

We aim to design and build the Site in a way that considers the needs of different users, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and alternative input devices.

Our goal is to work toward alignment with recognized accessibility guidelines, such as WCAG 2.1 at the AA level, over time.

2. What We Are Doing Today

• Using a clear heading structure to help navigation.
• Providing descriptive text for interactive elements where possible.
• Making efforts to provide sufficient color contrast.
• Supporting keyboard navigation for major sections and interactions.
• Adding ARIA and semantic markup where appropriate.

We review new content and features with accessibility in mind and will continue to refine the experience.

3. Platform Limitations & Third-Party Components

Our site is built on WordPress and WooCommerce and uses third-party themes and plugins. These tools can introduce accessibility limitations that are not fully within our control.

For example, some plugin components may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, or may include markup that is not optimal for assistive technologies. We are working toward improvements over time, including template overrides and refinements.

We cannot guarantee that every part of the Site is fully accessible today, but we are committed to ongoing, practical improvements.

Some content or services may be provided by third parties (e.g., embeds or external links). We do not control the accessibility of third-party websites or services, but we aim to choose tools and partners that respect accessibility best practices.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As we continue to develop the M by MAURO experience, we will prioritize accessibility in new designs and features, look for opportunities to improve third-party templates/components, and update this statement when there are meaningful changes.
